Drupal 6.13 and Drupal 5.19 were released 2 days ago. We've been
testing the new releases and upgrading sites on a sliding schedule (this
caused extremely brief, under 30 second outages) and have also made a
number of upgrades to modules and to the operating systems on the
servers. Just part of your maintenance contract on the sites. The
sites are all finished now - there was a minor issue in which Drupal
6.13 temporarily broke the administrative menus o*715) 598-9206

a couple of the sites, which we had to resolve before finishing the rest
of them. We believe all the sites are now working properly on the new
releases, which were required to fix some security issues and a few
minor bugs. Please email helpdesk at cruiskeenconsulting.com if you see
any issues with your site.

Please note that we'll be in vacation mode soon, as my wife and I head
out to Cape Breton for 2 weeks. Because of that, responses to helpdesk
queries may be a little slower than normal - I will be out of town from
July 21 - Aug 6, approximately. In case of emergency requests, please
do one of the following:

a. Email to helpdesk at cruiskeenconsulting.com -- The staff gets paged
when you email this address, and you will receive a trouble ticket
number. This is almost always the most reliable way to file an issue.

b. Call our Google voice number if you don't receive a response within
a half hour. This will ring through to all of us wherever we happen to
be (at least that's the theory). The phone number is (*715) 598-9206

*We will also very soon have a "call me" widget on the Cruiskeen
Consulting web site which you can use to call us directly.

Look forward in the near future (it looks like it's rolled back to
mid-August) for the first in our on-line courses on Drupal. The first
course will be very introductory, and will help you to learn what Drupal
is about, and some ways in which it can be used. More information in a
few weeks.

Lastly - I thought I'd just say that we've been concerned not only about
the ongoing issues in Iran, but also in the repression of communications
in various parts of the globe. We have been running a TOR router proxy
for a while as a service to let people anonymize their web trafffic from
parts of the world that censor their communications. The router has
been REMARKABLY busy recently, and we'd like to thank all of you for
helping us to be able to afford this and other projects like it
(including our ability to contribute to Drupal and other open source
projects, and to run our servers on renewable power). For more
information on the TOR project, please take a look http://torproject.org

Thanks for your business and your trust.

Steve
