[Clients] Server problems this AM

As I'm sure all of you who are hosted on the shared2 server noticed, we
had a pretty severe server lockup this morning.  We're working through
trying to figure out what is going on there, but it's largely the same
issue we had yesterday, where the server load suddenly became so severe
that the server ran itself out of
memory.  We're trying to identify the source of this load.  In the
meantime we're rate-limiting the server slightly in an attempt to keep
this from happening while we're looking for the cause.

The server was so out of control this morning that we had to crash the
virtual server to get control back,
which caused some issues on the restart with databases having to resync,
and a couple of problems with some of the virtual interfaces.

We're in the process of expanding our servers at the colocation
facility, so we will soon have more
redundancy in place, which will help out with issues like this.

Our apologies for the problem and I assure you we're trying to find the
root cause.
